Edible Acorns

I hosted a dinner party last week. Like any good host, I obsessed over the table setting. The food was secondary for me, so secondary that I asked Henry to cook it. I am much better suited for the set up and clean up crew. If dudes had dinner parties, I would totally clean up their mess.

You all know how important clever treats are to me, a few examples seen here, here and here. Naturally, I  browsed the net for a super fall treat idea. With the leaves a changin' and the squirrels a squirrelin' I made some edible acorns to take center stage.
Seriously, keep this idea stashed away to impress all of your friends and family members at your Thanksgiving Day Festivities. Super sweet and so easy.
The ingreds:
Hershey Kisses, mine had caramel in the middle, because I say "why not?"
Chocolate Chips
Mini Vanilla Wafer
Frosting to glue it all together

I made the whole package of kisses into sweet little acorns. Threw them on a plate with some other festive fall decor and viola a centerpiece!
If I was a squirrel I would get myself a package of kisses and a box wafers and call it a season!
